Bondi assures that ‘everything’s going to come out’ related to the Epstein files – Washington Examiner
The recent release of the “Epstein Files,” which was highly anticipated, turned out to be disappointing for many. Attorney General Pam Bondi initially suggested that substantial documents relating to Jeffrey Epstein would be made available, leading to expectations for significant revelations. However, critics, including members from both major political parties, expressed outrage when the released documents were primarily found to be Epstein’s flight logs and a contact list, rather than the detailed insights many hoped for.
rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a Republican, publicly voiced her discontent on social media, stating that the task force had not reviewed the documents and clarified that they mainly consisted of Epstein’s phonebook. Given the criticism, Bondi later claimed that many pertinent files had not been included in the initial release and pressed the FBI to deliver all relevant data promptly.
Bondi assured the public that a new batch of documents was being compiled, which she described as a “truckload of evidence.” She emphasized the importance of thorough examination and promised clarity in the ongoing examination, while also stressing the need to protect the identities of Epstein’s victims. She concluded by affirming her commitment to making all information available to the public in due time, framing it as part of a broader initiative for transparency under the current management.
Bondi assures that ‘everything’s going to come out’ related to the Epstein files
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that the FBI complied with her deadline demand last week and delivered more information on the Epstein case to the Department of Justice. Bondi made the revelations while speaking to Fox News host Sean Hannity on Monday night.
Bondi’s update comes after last week’s much-anticipated release of the Epstein files turned out to be a big dud. What was expected to be a serious event became a circus as social media influencers at the White House were given binders supposedly containing information about the case. Republicans, Democrats, conservatives, and liberals widely panned the release. This included ardent Trump supporters in Congress, such as Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL).
“I nor the task force were given or reviewed the Epstein documents being released today,” Luna said in a social media post. “A NY Post story just revealed that the documents will simply be Epstein’s phonebook. THIS IS NOT WHAT WE OR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ASKED FOR. GET US THE INFORMATION WE ASKED FOR instead of leaking old info to press.”
Later, after many negative reactions to the release of the Epstein files, Bondi claimed that many of the files related to the case were not actually sent to her, and she ordered the FBI to deliver them by Friday at 8 a.m.
“I gave a deadline of Friday at 8 a.m. to get us everything,” Bondi told Hannity. “And a source had told me where the documents were being kept, Southern District of New York, shock. So we got them all by Friday at 8 a.m.”
“Thousands of pages of documents,” the attorney general added. “I have the FBI going through them…and Director Patel is going to get us a detailed report as to why the FBI withheld all of those documents.”
The attorney general described the significant amount of evidence she received as a “truckload of evidence” and said the files would be analyzed and assessed. A detailed report of what was included will be crafted, and then it will be released to the public. She emphasized that her staff would work diligently while also protecting the identities of Epstein’s victims.
“And, you know, we’re going to go through it, go through it as fast as we can, but go through it very cautiously to protect all the victims of Epstein,” Bondi said.
TRUMP SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID TO FIRE PEOPLE AT THE FBI
Bondi then touted the transparency of the Trump administration and emphasized that it was a “new day” in the country, while promising the information in the Epstein files would be released to the public.
“And it’s a new day,” Bondi said. “It’s a new administration, and everything’s going to come out to the public. The public has the right to know. Americans have a right to know.”
