Personally, I’m concerned that the message is being lost here. People may become numb even though some liberal cable news outlets are finally reporting on the disaster (now that the election is over), These numbers can only be repeated for so many more days before people accept it as fact. “the new normal.”

At least some Democrats believe that this was the plan all along. Continue to ignore the crisis until the whole system is overwhelmed. Then, shrug your shoulders as if you are still able to believe that it is possible. “it’s always been this way.”
