‘Boy Meets World’ star Ben Savage running for Congress

“Boy Meets World” Ben Savage is a rising star who has announced his candidacy for Congress in California’s thirty-nine districts.Th District of Congress
The former child star is running for Representative Adam Schiff’s (D-Calif.) congressional seat. This is because the Democrat is now running for California’s open Senate seat, currently occupied in California by Senator Dianne Fenstein (D.Calif.). At the end of her term, she will be retiring.
He posted the announcement to Instagram Monday.
“I am running for Congress because it’s time to restore faith in government by offering reasonable, innovative, and compassionate solutions to our country’s most pressing issues,” Savage said.
“I am a proud Californian, union member and longtime resident of District 30 who comes from a family of unwavering service to our country and community,” He wrote. “I firmly believe in standing up for what is right, ensuring equality and expanding opportunities for all.”
Savage is a veteran politician.
Savage registered in January to run for the office of Democrat 30.Th District. California District includes West Hollywood and Burbank as well as a part of Pasadena. This district is administered by the Federal Election Commission.
The 42-year old ran for the West Hollywood City Council seat last year. According to his campaign website money was one of his highest priorities.
Reports claim that the actor studied political science at Stanford University. He interned in 2003 for the then-Republican Senator Arlen Smithter.
In ABC’s Cory Matthews, Savage was the role of Savage “Boy Meets World” He was back in his Disney Channel role from 1993-2000. “Girl Meets World” From 2014 through 2017.
