Which island did ‍Epstein own?

Epstein purchased Little St. James — which would become the center of his misconduct — for just $7.95 million in 1998. He later bought Great St. James in 2016 for⁣ nearly $20 million, although he ⁣never significantly developed it before his death. The recently ordered release of 187 names by U.S. District New York Judge Loretta Preska has revealed new information related to the case against Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey ⁢Epstein’s longtime‌ accomplice and lover. The ⁤names ⁣include prominent figures such as Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Doug Band, and Jean-Luc Brunel.

The release of these names was ordered‍ by Judge Preska in December, but an appeal was filed by the Jane and John Does, delaying the process. However, the names have now been unveiled, shedding light on the extent of Epstein’s connections with high-profile ⁣individuals.

Epstein was known to have associations with U.S. presidents, foreign‍ prime ministers, members ⁣of the royal family, Hollywood celebrities, academics, and public figures within ⁢the government. The gravity‍ of⁤ his⁢ network becomes apparent with the revelation of these names.

It is important to note that⁣ the identities of several underage victims, as well as the mistaken identification of at least⁤ one individual, were initially suppressed and not included⁢ in the released list.

While the full implications of these revelations are ⁣yet to unfold, they serve as a reminder of the far-reaching impact Epstein had on various spheres of society. The ⁤suppression of information related to his ⁤case raises questions about accountability and the safeguarding of‍ victims.
