Update – BREAKING: Police Release Report On Investigation Into Bob Saget’s Death

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office released a report on Monday about their investigation into the death of legendary comedian Bob Saget, who was found dead in a Florida hotel room Sunday.

“The report states that Saget was expected to check out Sunday and his family had been unable to get ahold of him,” WESH-TV reported. “Family members contacted Ritz-Carlton security who sent a team member to perform a welfare check.”

When security entered the room, all the lights were off and things were described as “orderly.”

According to the report, Saget’s “left arm was across his chest while his right arm was resting on the bed. No signs of trauma were seen.”

Saget was on the bed and was “cold to the touch, yellow and clammy.”

Dr. Joshua Stephany, Chief Medical Examiner for Orange and Osceola Counties, released the following initial autopsy report on Monday:

An autopsy was performed this morning on Robert Lane Saget. Mr. Saget is a 65-year-old male, who was found unresponsive in his hotel room. At this time. there is no evidence of drug use or foul play. The cause and manner of death are pending further studies and investigation which may take up to 10-12 weeks to complete.

When the autopsy report has been finalized, a follow up press statement will be released.
