Brett Favre’s Lawyer Says He’s Looking To Bankrupt Pat McAfee: “It’s Going To Cost Pat Mcafee Millions Of Dollars”

Favre’s lawyer said that Pat McAfee’s lawsuit filed against Brett Favre for defamation could lead to the broadcaster being bankrupt. The attorney says it will be a difficult lesson.

The Hall of Fame quarterback was offended by comments made by Pat McAfee Show The host discussed the ongoing welfare scandal in Mississippi. The host and his cast had a good laugh at Favre’s expense, as is their usual format. The Gunslinger apparently didn’t find it very amusing.

Favre was charged with receiving $1.1million in federal funds through Mississippi in 2020 for appearances that he didn’t make. In the beginning, the retired star claimed that he appeared and didn’t know where the money was coming from.

McAfee, the former Colts punter who has found a second life as a ‘guy talk’ podcaster, is not afraid to toe the line in terms of content. After hearing about the lawsuit, McAfee went on his podcast and answered the questions with. “See ya in court, pal.”

McAfee denied that Favre would lose a case against him. McAfee repeatedly stated that neither he nor his co-hosts had ever said Favre was guilty. They just mentioned the allegations without passing any public verdict.

Favre and Eric Herschmann, his attorney, have not stopped them from intensifying their efforts to get McAfee’s conviction. McAfee also serves as commentator. ESPN Gameday And for WWE Smackdown FOX Network. He is currently one of the most prominent and well-known personalities in sports media.

This may have made him a target for this lawsuit. His opinion is very important to the sporting community. Any slight could have caused a lot of emotional turmoil for Favre, who is known for being extremely sensitive. It may be grounds to seek financial settlement. Herschmann’s statement suggests that he is certain of this.

“It’s going to cost Pat McAfee millions of dollars. And if it bankrupts him, then he will have learned his lesson,” Herschmann said.

“You don’t try to promote yourself by inappropriately and improperly attacking somebody else.”

McAfee’s case may not be able to proceed, but the Favre story is getting ugly. The former NFL MVP has a lot to lose, especially considering that it was backed up with text messages and confessions.

Favre was able to secure money through his connections with Phil Bryant, the former Mississippi Governor. It used $5 million in Temporary Aid for Needy Families funds of the State of Mississippi, and $1.1 million from Favre.

Favre, McAfee and Shannon Sharpe have also filed lawsuits against Shad White, Mississippi State Auditor, and Shannon Sharpe (former NFL commentator and star). All of them allege similar defamation in relation to the welfare scandal.
