ANTWERP, Belgium, Oct 8 (Reuters) – American Simone​ Biles dominates the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, winning five medals – four golds and a silver.

The 26-year-old superstar now holds a record-breaking 37 world and Olympics medals, including‍ an impressive 23 golds.

In ⁢the balance beam final, Biles delivered a flawless routine, earning a‍ score of 14.800, securing the gold ⁤ahead of ‌China’s Zhou ⁤Yaqin with⁢ 14.700.

Brazilian Rebeca Andrade,⁣ who defeated Biles in the women’s vault, claimed the ⁣bronze with a score of 14.300.

Continuing her dominance, Biles triumphed in the floor final with a score ‍of 14.633, leaving second-placed Andrade 0.133 points behind.

Brazilian Flavia ⁤Saraiva secured her first individual medal ‍at the worlds, ‍taking home ‌the bronze ‍with a score ⁢of 13.966.

Jake Jarman made history by becoming Britain’s first gold medalist in the men’s vault ​final.

“I was incredibly ⁤nervous leading up to​ this competition. I don’t know why. I kept telling myself, ‘just enjoy it, just enjoy it, anything can happen,’ but the nerves were ​still there.

The‌ 21-year-old finished ahead ⁣of American Khoi⁤ Young, who secured the silver and added to⁣ his second-place finish in the pommel horse and bronze in the team event.

“It feels great. I came⁣ here to have fun and do what I needed to do, and it turned out well,” Young shared.

“I’m⁤ relieved to be done. ‍It was quite stressful, but I’m absolutely thrilled with my⁣ performance. I didn’t have⁤ high ⁣expectations, ‍but I managed to come away with some medals,⁤ so‌ of course, I’m⁤ happy.”

Germany’s Lukas Dauser claimed gold ‍in the men’s parallel bars final, while Japan’s Daiki‌ Hashimoto took the top spot in ​the horizontal ​bar⁢ event.
