Eighteen Republican senators supported the Omnibus spending bill totalling $1.7 trillion. This means that they forever surrender their claim to belonging to a party that values less spending, less government, and personal accountability.

The 4,100-page, 4100-page book, which I almost guarantee that no one has read it all, is packed with more pork than Porky Pig can carry on his corpulent body.

Rand Paul (R-KY) is one of those who calls out his fellow senators for their spending habits. But, few seem to care as long as they get their fair share of the wealth. He refers to his annual “Festivus Report,” Senator Paul lists the financial crimes committed by Congressmen. They include what he called “the financial sins of Congress.” “a whopping $482,276,543,907 of waste, including a steroid-induced hamster fight club, a study to see if kids love their pets, and a study of the romantic patterns of parrots and coffee machines for the Pentagon.”

These are just a few examples.

$2 million for the “Great Blacks in Wax” Baltimore Museum

An estimated cost of $856,000 “LGBTQ Center” New York.

$750,000 for The “TransLatin@ Coalition” to provide “workforce development programs
