A Tragic Incident: Security Guard Beaten to Death Outside Los Angeles Nightclub
A shocking incident unfolded over the weekend in Los Angeles, as a security guard was brutally beaten to death outside a popular nightclub. The KTLA-TV report reveals that the Los Angeles Police Department is currently on the lookout for a group of individuals responsible for this heinous act, which occurred around 2 a.m. on Sunday morning.
The Dragonfly Hollywood nightclub, situated on Santa Monica Boulevard at Wilcox Avenue, was the unfortunate location of this tragic event. According to authorities, a swarm of approximately 10 people attacked the victim, a man in his thirties. Overwhelmed and outnumbered, the man was mercilessly hit and ultimately stomped to death.
WABC-TV’s Marc Cota-Robles shared a video capturing the aftermath of the fatal attack, although the footage of the victim on the ground was blurred out by the reporter.

As investigations continue, LAPD West Bureau Homicide Division Detective Samuel Marullo stated that it remains unclear what triggered the attack. The victim was working at the nightclub when a large group confronted him, causing him to fall into the street. The mob then advanced, kicking and stomping him until he succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, the LAPD has not provided any suspect descriptions or additional information regarding whether the attack originated inside or outside the Hollywood club. They are urging witnesses to come forward with any relevant information.
Video footage obtained by KTLA shows first responders attempting to remove the man from the scene, but unfortunately, their efforts were in vain.
Neither the LAPD nor the Dragonfly Hollywood nightclub has released the identity of the victim. However, the club announced through its Instagram story that it will temporarily close in the wake of this tragedy.
“As we begin to process and mourn the loss of our colleague, Dragonfly will be closed,” the club stated. “Our hearts are with his family at this time.”
The Dragonfly Hollywood is renowned as a vibrant ”dance” club, regularly hosting popular DJs and other music acts. This devastating incident has left the community in shock and mourning.
