Cancel Culture Mob Slams Transgender Author And Activist For Allegedly Working At Lockheed Martin
A transgender author fell victim to the Cancel Culture mob after a Twitter user alleged that the activist works as a defense contractor for the U.S.-based global security and aerospace company Lockheed Martin.
Ana Mardoll, a self-described writer, activist, and nonbinary transgender boy, was doxxed over social media on July 30, when users alleged that Mardoll worked at Lockheed Martin’s Fort Worth, Texas facility.
“I’ve been aware that someone is trying to dox me and @ everyone I know in the process, so I might as well address some things here,” Mardoll said from a now deleted Twitter account.
“I’m sorry I have to do this,” the author said. “I work at a large corporation which I will not name. I work in software licensing, procuring text editors and code compliers for others.’
“I do not procure code for anything,” Mardoll said. “I got this particular job because my family works for the same corporation.”
“I stay because I’m on an unusual part-time arrangement for medical reasons,” the activist said. “I stay because I’m on an unusual part-time arrangement for medical reasons. It’s hard to find a remove WFH job that will give me medical insurance but let me work 10-20 hours a week.”
The Daily Mail reports the person who originally posted Mardoll’s employment also created a Medium Blog page where it lists her address and personal social media accounts, which the site later removed because it violated its standards.
Freelance columnist for MSNBC Katelyn Burns came to Mardoll’s defense on Twitter.
“If you’re accusing my friend of war crimes, that is next level insane,” Burns said.
“Looking forward to weirdo lefties doxing every Lockheed Martin employee with this much glee since I’ve been informed it’s not really about this one person that these weirdos have obsessed over for months,” she said in another tweet.
Lockheed Martin, which predominantly works with the U.S. Department of Defense and other federal agencies, has been accused of being “pro-war.” Mardoll reportedly worked for the company for 15 years, enraging the Internet, which blasted Mardoll for working for such a company.
“Not going to weigh in on the Ana Mardoll/Lockheed Martin thing other than to say him having worked there 15 years is what’s really blowing my mind, because I assumed he was mid-20s because his bio describes himself as a trans boy,” a Twitter user said.
“If you have the qualifications to get hired doing software development for Lockheed Martin, then you have the qualifications to find a job working for a significantly less evil corporation,” one Twitter account said.
“Ana Mardoll being a Lockheed Martin nepotism hire, who’s been there since the middle of the Bush administration, is making me lose it,” another account said.
Mardoll has authored a series of books, including Cinder the Fireplace Boy and the Gayly Grimm Tales, Poison Kiss, and Survival Rout. The writer also has a YouTube account with over 4,000 subscribers. Mardoll last uploaded a video (“Let’s Play Honey, I Joined a Cult,”) eight months ago.
