Candace Cameron Bure Thanks Fans After GAF Becomes ‘Fastest Growing Network’ In All Of Cable TV
Candace Cameron Bure thanked fans for their support after her new channel — the Great American Family — became the “fastest growing network” All cable TV.
In a post to her Instagram StoryThe 46-year old actress shared a press release by Great American Media about the end of the fourth quarter. “fastest growing network in all of cable television.”
“Thank you for finding us and watching Great American Family Channel,” Bure created the press release for the network.
GAF shared the tweet via Twitter “Great news for Great American Media’s #GreatAmericanFamily to end 2022 & an even better way to start 2023. Happy New Year to everyone who helped make this happen, from people on-camera & off, but especially our viewers!”

In the press release, the network shared that in only the channel’s second year, it ranked “#1 in Total Day ratings growth in Households (+113%),” Nielsen.
It also stated that the network was ranked #1 in “Primetime ratings growth in Households (+128%) among all cable networks.”
According to the press release, the increase in growth was due to the “network’s Great American Christmas franchise, which featured 18 original Christmas movies” Bure was among the other fan favorites Danica McKillar, Gladys Knight and many more.
Bure shared recently what Christmas programming viewers could expect from the network, which planned to compete with The Hallmark Channel over the holidays.
The “Full House” Hallmark star quits to join GAF to tell her story “faith-filled” Stories, as before reported.
In a statement Bure, in April, shared her excitement at the prospect of developing “heartwarming family and faith-filled programming and make the kind of stories my family and I love to watch. I am constantly looking for ways that I can inspire people to live life with purpose. GAC fits my brand perfectly.”
Later, in a Wall Street Journal interview, Bure explained that she wanted to share “stories that have more meaning and purpose and depth behind them.”
“I knew that the people behind Great American Family were Christians that love the Lord and wanted to promote faith programming and good family entertainment,” the actress said, noting that Hallmark had essentially become “a completely different network” Due to a “change of leadership.”
Hallmark began developing LGBTQ storylines. The first holiday movie starring a same-sex couple was called “The Holiday Sitter,” The channel premiered the show on December 11, 2009.
