Catholic baseball player calls out Dodgers, urges fans to turn to Jesus.
Catholic MLB Player Speaks Out Against Dodgers’ Association with Anti-Christian Group
Washington Nationals pitcher Trevor Williams, a devout Catholic, took to Twitter to express his disappointment with the Los Angeles Dodgers’ decision to honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, an anti-Christian hate group known for promoting the LGBT agenda by dressing in drag queen-inspired nun outfits. The group had previously mocked the crucifixion of Christ in a sexualized performance on Easter this year. Despite the Dodgers’ anti-discrimination policy, which forbids prejudiced conduct and attire at the ballpark, they will honor the group with a “Community Hero Award” at a game on June 16.

Williams urged Catholics to reconsider their support of an organization that allows this type of mockery of its fans to occur. He also pointed out that the Dodgers should strive to create an inclusive environment that does not demean or disrespect the religious beliefs of any fan or employee. Twitter users applauded Williams for publicly defending his religion.
Thank you for this!
Hold the line.

Following an uproar and boycott over the Dodgers’ association with an anti-Catholic drag queen organization, the club scheduled a “Christian Faith and Family Night” in what many see as a ploy to win back Christian fans.

Williams concluded his statement by pointing to Christ and reminding Catholics that any suffering in this world unites us to Him in the next.
Take Action and Look to Jesus Christ
Williams’ message is clear: as a devout Catholic, he is deeply troubled by the Dodgers’ decision to honor a group that openly blasphemes the Christian faith. He urges Catholics to reconsider their support of an organization that allows this type of mockery of its fans to occur and to look to Jesus Christ for guidance. Let us take action and stand up for our beliefs, just as Williams has done.
