Celebrities slammed Sean “Diddy” Combs on Friday after a disturbing video was published on Friday that allegedly showed him beating his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura at a hotel in Los Angeles several years ago.

CNN, which obtained the video, said that the incident happened on March 5, 2016, at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.

The video purportedly shows Combs running down the hall after Ventura and catching up to her as she waited for an elevator.

Combs allegedly grabbed her, threw her on the ground, kicked her, and attempted to drag her back to the hotel room. He later appeared to shove her in a corner before sitting on a nearby chair and throwing an object at her.

Rapper 50 Cent posted the video on X, writing: “Now I’m sure puffy didn’t do it, he is innocent this proves nothing ! This is what his lawyers are gonna say, God help us all.”

Supermodel Emily Ratajkowski responded to a post of the video on X by writing: “Monster.”

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy posted on X: “Throw Diddy in jail. Throw away the key. Throw away the key to whoever had this video and kept their mouth shut. I mean holy f***.”

ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith said that Combs’ career was “over” following the video’s release, which was viewed tens of millions of times across social media in just an hour.

The release of the video comes after federal law enforcement officials with the Department of Homeland Security executed raids on two homes belonging to Combs in March in connection to an alleged sex trafficking investigation.
