‘Change My Mind’: Steven Crowder Challenges Leftists On Biological Males In Women’s Sports
Steven Crowder is back at it again with his latest installment of “Change My Mind,” the video series where the conservative comedian sits down with tolerant leftists (if he can find them) who are willing to engage in conversation on some of the most controversial issues of the day. In the newest episode, Crowder traveled to the University of North Texas to see if any student could change his mind that biological males, like Lia Thomas for example, should not be allowed to compete in women’s sports.
In the first part of the two-part video, it was clear that not all individuals were pleased with Crowder’s appearance on campus. At least one masked protester hurled f-bombs and middle fingers, and another androgynous individual even threw a bag of chocolate at Crowder.
This is not the first time that a speaker challenging radical gender ideology was met with dissatisfaction — to put it mildly — by North Texas students. In early March, The Daily Wire reported that black-clad “protestors screamed and heckled at a college student and Jeff Younger, the father of a child at the center of national disputes over transgenderism, forcing police to rush the student and Younger to safety, according to interviews and video footage obtained by The Daily Wire.”
That video can be seen here:

While Younger may have been speaking on the legality and morality of placing children on puberty blockers and other radical gender ideology ideas, Crowder was arguing something else, and still rankled campuses leftists.
Crowder’s argument is that it does not make any intellectual sense for leftists to say that sex and gender are different, because sex is biological and gender is a societal construct, but that biological males who identify as female should be allowed to play in women’s sports. Understandably, biological males have certain physical advantages over biological females and should be excluded from women’s sports regardless of their identity, he argues and the position is “untenable” for a myriad of reasons.
As the teaser for the episode shows, one student named Isaac actually sat down for a lengthy conversation with Crowder on the subject.
“I think it is harmful for the trans athletes to be told, like, if they identify as male that they are not,” Isaac began to say in the teaser before Crowder cut him off.
“Ahh you just said male, that’s sex, that’s not gender,” Crowder said.
“Oh, sorry whatever is the gendered term,” Isaac responded.
“No, you can’t keep it straight, can you? Cause it’s silly, it’s a little silly,” Crowder said, while exposing the logical fallacy of radical gender ideology.
The conversation ended with neither side changing their mind, but it did prove that two people who disagree on the topic can have a mutually respectful conversation. Crowder even said Isaac was the kind of guy he might like to have a beer with at the bar.
While Crowder may be asking folks to change his mind on the subject, best-selling LGBTQ+ author and Daily Wire host Matt Walsh simply wants to know what a woman is.
On Tuesday, The Daily Wire reported Walsh announced a new book challenging radical gender theory and answering “the question of a generation” is finally available for preorder. “What Is a Woman? One Man’s Journey to Answer the Question of a Generation,” was written over the last year by the conservative cultural warrior.
The book coincides with Walsh’s new documentary, “What is a Woman?“, in which the host travels the globe (literally) speaking to experts on both sides of the debate and searching for an answer to the question dominating the culture: “What is a woman?”
“I sought out experts in every field in the gender theory world — doctors, therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, politicians, activists, and transgender people themselves — and I put the question to them directly,” Walsh said. “I found — and you’ll see in the film — their arguments collapsed not with hammer blows or a hard push, but with simple questions, because the core of gender ideology is hollow.”
