Trump-Era Title 42 Border Policy Expected To End Today: Chaos at the Border
DALLAS (NewsNation) — The Trump-era policy that allows border officials to turn away migrants at the southern border, known as Title 42, is expected to expire Tuesday After months of legal back-and-forth, the Biden administration attempted to end the policy in spring 2022.
Border officials can refuse to accept asylum seekers if they have concerns about public health due to the coronavirus pandemic.
