China has expressed” grave matter” regarding a planned U.S. hearing on COVID-19’s’s causes.
China is in opposition to the inspection, according to an email sent by a representative at the Chinese Embassy.
Rep. Brad Wenstrup( R-Ohio) received the email from Li Xiang, a counsellor at the U.S. Chinese Embassy, on April 14 at 2:15 in the morning. He is the chairman of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The hearing, titled” Investigating the Origins of COVID-19 Part 2: China and the Available Intelligence ,” is set for April 18.
