Chip Roy endorses Ron DeSantis for president
Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX). endorsed Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), won Wednesday’s election to be the next president of the United States in 2024 over other Republican candidates, including former President Donald Trump.
Roy, who is also the Freedom Caucus’ policy chair, called DeSantis “a” “man of conviction” He announced his endorsement in a press release

DeSantis hasn’t announced a presidential bid, but it is widely believed that he will announce a White House campaign sometime in May or June.
