Christie claims Ramaswamy copied Obama, Vivek responds with ‘Bear Hug’ comeback.

Chris Christie ⁢Accuses Ramaswamy of Plagiarizing Obama, Vivek Claps ‍Back with ‘Bear Hug’ Comment

In a fiery exchange during the Republican⁤ Party’s first primary debate in Milwaukee on Wednesday, Chris ⁢Christie took on Vivek Ramaswamy, accusing‍ him of plagiarizing former President Barack Obama.

“I’ve had enough already tonight of a guy who sounds like ChatGPT standing ⁣up here,” Christie boldly‍ declared, referring to Ramaswamy.

Christie drew a parallel ⁢between⁣ Ramaswamy and Obama, recalling‌ a moment from a⁢ previous debate where ‍Obama questioned the presence⁤ of a “skinny guy with an odd last name” on the stage. He warned that Ramaswamy’s amateurish approach mirrored that of‌ Obama.

Ramaswamy didn’t back down⁣ and responded with⁢ an Obama-related retort.

“Come over and give me⁣ a ‍hug!” the ‌businessman challenged Christie, referencing a moment when Christie reportedly ⁢hugged⁢ Obama after Hurricane Sandy in 2012. Ramaswamy suggested that ‌Christie’s support⁢ could help him win, just as it allegedly did ‍for Obama.

However, ⁢Christie has denied the hug ever took place.

Ramaswamy’s‌ words during the debate did bear resemblance to a line used by Obama at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, leading some to⁤ accuse him of‍ plagiarism.

Notably, former President Donald Trump, who is ‌leading in primary polling, chose to skip the debate.
