Chuck Grassley alleges exclusion of IRS investigators from briefing on Biden family’s alleged criminal scheme.
IRS Agents Left Out of Briefing on Alleged Criminal Bribery Scheme Investigation
According to Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Internal Revenue Service (IRS) agents were excluded from a briefing regarding an investigation into President Joe Biden and his family’s alleged involvement in a “criminal bribery scheme.” Grassley expressed his concerns in a letter addressed to United States Attorney for the District of Delaware, David Weiss.
In his letter, Grassley stated that IRS investigators were not informed about a briefing that involved an FD-1023 form. This form, according to Republicans, provides evidence that members of the Biden family received money from foreign groups in exchange for policy favors. Grassley emphasized the need for IRS investigators to be “looped in” on such matters.
Questionable Conduct and Whistleblower Testimony
Grassley highlighted the alleged obstructive conduct of Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf and FBI agents from Baltimore during the briefing. He claimed that whistleblowers have confirmed that Wolf prevented investigators from gathering information about Joe Biden’s involvement in Hunter Biden’s criminal business arrangements.
Seeking clarification, Grassley wrote to Weiss, expressing his concerns about Wolf’s conduct and requesting information on how these allegations have been handled.
Both the House and Senate GOP have initiated investigations into the Biden administration and Biden’s family members. Whistleblowers from the FBI and IRS have come forward, claiming that they were either prevented or misled in their attempts to thoroughly investigate the alleged criminal scheme.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) recently stated that he is hopeful that the committee’s “disturbing findings” will be revealed soon. He believes that the Biden family received over $20 million from foreign sources.
