CIA Dir. Nominee: U.S. must prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons

If confirmed, Joe Biden’s find to lead the Central Cleverness Agency vowed to give straight-forward intellect on Iran. Through the Senate Brains Committee Hearing Thursday, William Burns told lawmakers he will not imagine Iran can be respected with a nuclear weapon.

Iran must remain under full sanctions as long as they pursue nuclear ambitions, sponsor terrorists, and keep hostages.

Burns also stressed the U.S. needs to keep doing everything it can to avoid Iran from creating a nuclear weapon.
