Jim Breuer defends Jason Aldean, exposes leftist hypocrisy in cancel culture.
Stars Rally Behind Jason Aldean’s Controversial Song
Country singer Jason Aldean’s song “Try That in a Small Town” has received support from various stars, despite facing accusations of racism and being labeled as “pro-lynching.” Country Music Television even decided to remove the music video for the song from its lineup.
Comedian Jim Breuer recently called out the hypocrisy of the left while appearing on Fox News’ “Gutfeld!” He criticized their tendency to use certain words like “racist” and “sexist” in any situation. Breuer questioned why it’s acceptable to engage in violent acts, such as burning down buildings and assaulting innocent people, but writing a song about it crosses a line of racial tension.
Jim Breuer trashes the Left-wing press for trying to cancel Jason Aldean:
“What baffles my mind is: You can burn the place down, you can drag innocent elderly women out of their car and beat them, you can light churches on fire, but just don’t write no songs about it!” pic.twitter.com/wY84eTkWen

Country star John Rich praised Breuer’s perspective on the matter, tweeting, “My buddy [Jim Breuer] nailed it about the Jason Aldean song,” along with a clip of Breuer’s comments.

Country legend Lee Greenwood recently defended Aldean in an interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters. Greenwood expressed his admiration for Aldean as a patriot and stated that the controversy surrounding the song has nothing to do with racism but rather an attempt to suppress freedom of expression.
Addressing the controversy, Aldean himself took to Twitter to clarify the meaning behind his hit song and music video, which features real news footage of rioters attacking police and burning the American flag.
“In the past 24 hours, I have been accused of releasing a pro-lynching song (a song that has been out since May) and was subject to the comparison that I (direct quote) was not too pleased with the nationwide BLM protests,” Aldean wrote.
“These references are not only meritless, but dangerous.”

“There is not a single lyric in the song that references race or points to it- and there isn’t a single video clip that isn’t real news footage –and while I can try and respect others to have their own interpretation of a song with music- this one goes too far.”
