Comer insists National Archives provide Biden’s business pseudonyms info.
Joe Biden’s Pseudonyms and Congressional Demands
During his vice presidency, Joe Biden used several pseudonyms to conceal his identity in various correspondences. This prevented members of Congress from easily identifying him in discussions related to Ukrainian energy company Burisma, Ukraine foreign policy, and his son Hunter Biden.
Recently, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer demanded that the National Archives provide any documents or communications containing Biden’s aliases. The requested aliases include Robert Peters, Robin Ware, and JRB Ware.
Request for Speech Drafts and Unrestricted Access
In addition to the pseudonyms, the committee also requested all drafts of Biden’s speech delivered to the Ukrainian parliament on Dec. 9, 2015. They also sought unrestricted access to any documents or correspondence involving Hunter Biden and his former business associates, Eric Schwerin and Devon Archer.
The committee specifically requested currently-redacted files in the archives case record titled “Email Messages To and/or From Vice President Biden and Hunter Biden.” According to Fox News, the record was made public in June, but two emails were withheld in full and the other two had multiple redactions.
“Joe Biden has claimed there was a clear separation between his family’s business dealings and his role as vice president. However, evidence suggests that his family had significant access and influence,” stated Comer.
Potential Groundbreaking Information
The discovery of new documents containing Biden’s aliases could provide groundbreaking information regarding the alleged Biden bribery scandal. However, the compliance of the National Archives with congressional requests remains uncertain.
It is worth noting that other federal agencies, including the FBI, have been accused of purposefully withholding key information related to the alleged Biden bribery scandal. For instance, the FBI attempted to withhold an FD-1023 document from Congress. This document contained testimony from a highly credible confidential human source, alleging that Hunter and Joe Biden received $5 million each from Burisma executive Mykola Zlochevsky in exchange for influence over U.S. foreign policy.
The FD-1023 also mentioned that Zlochevsky possessed 17 audio recordings, 15 of which involved Hunter Biden and 2 with Joe Biden, serving as an “insurance policy.” However, the FBI did not make any efforts to locate these audio recordings or investigate the allegations in the FD-1023.
Challenges with Federal Agencies
Both the National Archives and the FBI have faced criticism for their handling of sensitive information. The National Archives allowed Joe Biden to keep classified documents from his vice presidency in unsecured locations, while the FBI has been accused of selectively withholding information.
Furthermore, federal agencies often employ underhanded tactics to obstruct congressional oversight. They may delay responses, send irrelevant documents, heavily redact records, or claim non-receipt of congressional requests.
Subpoenaing Biden Family Members
Last week, Chairman Comer announced his committee’s plan to subpoena Biden family members, including President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden, once they gather more evidence. However, uncovering evidence has proven challenging due to a coordinated effort within the deep state to protect Joe Biden.
“The actions we’re witnessing from the Department of Justice, the FBI, the Biden attorneys, and the Democrats on the House Oversight Committee should deeply concern every American,” expressed Comer.
