COMPILATION: All the Times KJP Referred Reporters Elsewhere
Karine Jean Pierre is White House Press Secretary has never been Attentive this jobEven frustrated journalists are beginning to realize this. privately admit. Naturally, the president’s actions and words Her life has not been easy. In recent weeks, she has been particularly ineffective as the administration fights the growing scandal of classified documents. She is willing to tell…virtually nothing. She tried to portray it as though the White House couldn’t comment on certain issues due to the ongoing investigation. (I should also note that President Biden was not reluctant to bias another investigation when it began, in service of a smear US Border Patrol agents), but this excuse has been defeated. KJP is stuck with nothing to share and has taken the easy route of referring all questions on to other people or entities. This is a cringeworthy, but it may be the best she has to say. It might also be the strategy her superiors chose to use. Here she is executing the maneuver on a whole host of questions from Fox’s Peter Doocy.

This line has been repeated repeatedly by her. a lotAnswering any questions regarding the document mess. Another mini-montage is available from the same briefing. Just put this on repeat, day after day:

Varney & Company I suggested At his point, it might be just better for everyone if KJP would march into the briefing rooms each day and hang an. “I’ll refer you elsewhere” Sign on the podium and then return to her office. Close her door and open an ice-cold Coors Light. We would all be just as enlightened.

Special Report Anchor Bret Baier has been, shall I say, deeply unimpressed This is how the White House handled all of it — the “very seriouslyGaslighting is a particular example of this:

“…The president values transparency. So he says as he campaigned and as he became president and his straight talk and folks know I’m not joking. That’s it. Well, he should say, listen, here’s what happened. These documents, I don’t know how they got there. These documents were either packed up, or I accidentally found them while writing a book. I got it. He didn’t do any of that. He said, “I have no regrets.” and there’s ‘no there, there.’ And then, the White House press Secretary repeating what she said repeatedly and again is almost a thumb in front of your face.”
KJP would be happy to answer questions about her assessment. She’d likely refer the matter to the White House counsel.
