The older Rose was delivering a speech in which he condemned the recent verdict in former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial, though most of the attention generated online related to his son. Guy Rose was spotted staring into the camera for about the first minute of his father’s speech, and he could also be seen making funny faces while his father delivered his serious address.
John Rose’s office confirmed to the Washington Examiner that the child was his son.
“This is what I get for telling my son Guy to smile at the camera for his little brother,” the congressman later wrote on X.
