Conor McGregor Denies Assaulting Woman on His Yacht
Conor McGregor is being accused by a Dublin woman of assaulting her while she was on his yacht in Ibiza.
It is alleged that the incident occurred in July last year. According to the complaint, it took place last July. Majorca Daily BulletinMcGregor is alleged to have punched and kicked the woman in the stomach. McGregor also threatened to drown the woman, according to her.
The complaint says that the incident occurred following McGregor’s birthday party at a night club. According to the woman, McGregor was her childhood friend in Dublin and they met up for McGregor’s birthday. The party then migrated to McGregor’s yacht between 3 and 4 in the morning. The woman stated that she “feared for her life” And jumped off to flee the boat.
“It was as if he was possessed. I knew I had to leave the boat because I thought he was going to kill me,” According to reports, the woman told Irish police. “He’s a criminal. I think he would have killed me if I hadn’t left the yacht.”
In a statement to ESPN, Karen Kessler, McGregor’s spokeswoman, denied the allegations.
“Over six months ago an incident was alleged and after a police review, the matter was not pursued. Mr. McGregor is steadfast in his denial of all the accusations made by a guest on his boat,” Kessler said.
McGregor’s had a number of run-ins with the law, particularly over the last few years. Following a UFC press conference in 2018, McGregor famously threw an object at a bus. He was charged for criminal mischief, and he settled lawsuits against multiple UFC fighters.
In 2019, he was caught punching a man in Dublin. In 2020, he was charged with sexual assault in Corsica. The French police, however, did not pursue the case due to lack of evidence.

It is unclear whether this incident will affect McGregor’s projected return to the UFC this year. McGregor injured his leg during McGregor’s 2021 loss against Dustin Poirier. The UFC is considering having him return to coach the next season of The Ultimate Fighter. He is rumored to be competing against Tony Ferguson and Michael Chandler, both lightweight fighters. The UFC is likely to host a McGregor-headlined UFC event this summer.
If the past is any indication, McGregor won’t face any serious charges, but right now the situation is up in the air.
