Conor McGregor Threatens Heavyweight Tom Aspinall in Wild Rant: “Starve You and Kill You I Will”

Conor McGregor is well-known as the “king of trash talk”, but his latest rant has taken things to an entirely new level.

McGregor starts his coaching career The Ultimate Fighter This week, and with his much-awaited return at the Octagon just three months away from now, the Irish MMA legend has increased the intensity on social media.

The following: “victim” UFC heavyweight Tom Aspinall was unenthused about McGregor’s bout against Michael Chandler.

Aspinall stated Monday that “I’m honestly not that interested (in McGregor’s return). I’ll still watch it, but I’m more hyped about other fights. There are way more interesting fights than this. The heavyweight fights, the London Card; I could sit here, and name fights all day.”

McGregor threatened Aspinall with starvation in a tweet that he has since deleted.

Bum prick. McGregor said, “Say Sayonara to That gk Deal, Kid,” referring to Aspinall’s endorsement deal with an apparel company Gym King. “Starve you and kill you I will you f–king disrespectful prick. Don’t ever speak my name in disrespect again. Mush potato head.”

However, Aspinall seems not to be too concerned. He actually tweeted a response in which he added a line to his name and called himself a “a…” “Mush head rat.”

Lots of creative language, but with an  80+ pound weight difference (in fighting weight) between the two, little chance of an Octagon meet-up to settle the score. McGregor will be busy enough fighting Chandler soon enough. The Ultimate Fighter Airs May 1.
