New dating app for conservatives goes viral with humorous take on men in women’s sports.

Conservative Dating App Goes Viral on TikTok for Satirical Take on Women’s Sports

The Right Stuff, a dating app for conservatives founded by former senior Trump aide John McEntee, has gained over 400,000 followers, 120 million views, and 17 million likes on TikTok. The app’s social media manager has been credited with the success of the platform, which pokes fun at liberal politics.

One of the app’s most popular TikToks features McEntee working out while a voiceover says, “This is Emily. Her dream is to win the women’s national championship. But transphobic Republicans are keeping her from her dream.” The video goes on to say that Emily may be stronger and faster than other women, but “she feels it’s her place to compete, and that’s all that matters.”

Another popular TikTok shows McEntee as a high school tennis player who wasn’t getting any playing time until he “switched” genders and won a state championship.

The Right Stuff’s Social Media Strategy

McEntee says his team has “a blast making these videos and are thrilled to have such an engaging audience.” The app had 4,000 downloads in January, doubled that figure a month later, and doubled again in March. The Right Stuff plans to launch a “Friends” feature this summer, which will allow users who aren’t single to find others in their area who share their beliefs.
