Conservative Group Launches $10 Million Campaign Highlighting Dems ‘Endangering’ SCOTUS Justices
The Judicial Crisis Network (JCN) launched a $10 million advertising campaign Thursday highlighting what the group views as Democrats’ failure to protect Supreme Court justices amid unlawful protests, threats and an assassination attempt, according to a release shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The first ad attacks Attorney General Merrick Garland for refusing to enforce a federal law banning the picketing of judges’ residences in order to influence them, highlighting the attempted assassination of Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The majority of Americans view the protests outside justices homes as a threat to democracy and think Garland should enforce the law prohibiting them, JCN polling found.
“Merrick Garland has consistently bowed to the radical left’s agenda, whether it’s calling concerned parents ‘domestic terrorists’ or suing states for protecting the unborn,” JCN President Carrie Severino said in a statement. “What the Attorney General is clearly not doing is enforcing a federal law designed to protect judges at their homes, as mobs of protestors continue to harass six of the Court’s justices at their homes, even after the attempted assassination of Brett Kavanaugh.” (RELATED: More Justices Were On The Kill List For Man Arrested In Kavanaugh’s Attempted Murder, Says FBI)

The ad will air in the Washington, D.C. area.
Protesters have gathered outside the personal homes of conservative Supreme Court justices since a May 2 leaked draft opinion revealed their preliminary decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, which was made official June 23.
“Merrick Garland is the attorney general. He should uphold the rule of law, protect his former colleagues — and the Court. Instead, he’s cowering to the woke mob,” the ad says.
