Conservative PAC launches anti-Trump ads in crucial swing states.

Anti-Trump Group Launches $3.6 Million Ad Campaign to Block His 2024 Presidential Nomination

A group closely associated with the conservative Club for Growth is making a bold move in the campaign cycle. The Win it Back PAC is launching a $3.6 million ad campaign aimed at preventing former President Donald Trump from securing the GOP presidential nomination in 2024.

The PAC’s first media ad campaign, titled “John,” will air starting Tuesday and run through the end of the month. The 60-second video features a former Trump supporter expressing concerns about Trump’s candidacy in 2024. The ad aims to highlight Trump’s weaknesses without directly attacking him, focusing on the need for a candidate who can win the general election and continue Trump’s legacy.

Concerns from a Former Trump Supporter

“I love Donald Trump. I love what he did. Once he got in office, I thought it was a breath of fresh air,” the voter said. “I’m not sure he can focus on moving the country forward. The election is really important because we’re heading in the wrong direction. We definitely need someone who can freaking win. I think he’d probably lose that bet.”

The ad will run in Greenville, South Carolina, as well as Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, and Sioux City in Iowa.

The Win it Back PAC aims to boost other GOP contenders during the primary cycle while targeting Trump. The group, which shares staff members with the influential Club for Growth PAC, emphasizes that it will not actively work against Trump-endorsed candidates.

This ad campaign comes shortly after the Win it Back PAC filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission. The PAC’s designated agent is David McIntosh, the president of the Club for Growth, who has previously expressed opposition to Trump. Adam Rozansky, serving as the PAC’s treasurer, holds the same role in the Club for Growth.

The Club for Growth has been increasingly critical of Trump, even excluding him from its annual donor retreat earlier this year. The organization has expanded its reach to host campaign events and conduct polling for other GOP candidates, signaling a growing desire within the Republican Party to explore alternative options.

Despite the efforts of the Win it Back PAC, Trump’s campaign team remains unfazed, dismissing the group as a “swampy DC insider group” with no real threat to his front-runner status.

“Another swampy DC insider group using shady money to hurt America. Instead of bowing down and kowtowing to their CCP masters, Club for China Growth should be helping the people of Iowa and South Carolina fight against the Biden Regime who has put China First,” said Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung.
