Conservative figures back Oliver Anthony, despite media backlash.

Conservative‍ Personalities Rally Behind “Rich Men North‌ of ⁢Richmond” Singer ⁣Oliver Anthony

Oliver Anthony, ‌the folk singer‍ from Farmville, Virginia, has captured the attention of⁤ millions ‍with his viral song. In just⁣ five days, the video has garnered nearly 10⁢ million‌ views on YouTube.

This working-class anthem has resonated with people from all walks of ⁤life, including prominent conservative voices⁢ like Matt Walsh, Dan Bongino, and John Rich.

As ⁢of Monday, Oliver⁤ Anthony dominates the ‍iTunes Charts with three ‌of his songs. “Rich Men North of Richmond” holds the number one⁣ spot, followed by “Ain’t Gotta Dollar” at number two, and “I’ve Got to ‌Get Sober.”

Matt Walsh expressed why⁣ this song strikes a chord with so‌ many: “The main reason this song resonates with so many people isn’t⁢ political. It’s⁤ because⁢ the song is raw and⁤ authentic. We are suffocated by artificiality. Everything around us is fake. A guy in the woods pouring ⁤his ⁢heart over his guitar is real.”

Even‍ Joe ⁢Rogan and Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares have joined in embracing this powerful tune.

“What a great song⁢ and an unreal⁤ Virginia talent. Looking forward ‌to following [Oliver Anthony’s] ⁤ career as it takes off!” wrote Mr. Miyares.

Criticism by Legacy Media

Despite its widespread support, some media outlets like Rolling Stone have criticized Oliver Anthony’s music.

Rolling Stone published an article titled “Right-Wing Influencers Just Found Their Favorite New Country Song,” which describes ‍”Rich⁢ Men North of Richmond” as a “passionate screed against the state of‌ the country.” The article suggests⁤ that‌ the song’s appeal to conservative‍ personalities⁣ lies in its ⁢commentary on‍ high‌ taxes, ‌welfare, and even an allusion to Jeffrey Epstein.

While Rolling⁤ Stone claims to be sensitive to working-class issues, ⁣their criticism of Oliver Anthony’s politically charged song raises eyebrows.

However, as Breitbart’s John ‌Nolte wisely advises, Oliver Anthony‍ should stay true to himself and let his art speak for him.

Recent Support for Jason Aldean

This situation mirrors the recent support shown for Jason ⁢Aldean and his⁢ song “Try That In A Small Town.” Despite criticism from media outlets and social⁤ media, country music stars ⁣like Brantley ⁣Gilbert,⁤ Cody Johnson, and others rallied behind him.
