Conservative podcaster Michael Savage tells Jean-Pierre to ‘just shut up’: ‘You’re an embarrassment’

Conservative podcast host Michael Savage blasted White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s most recent “word salad” while trying to explain why the Biden administration is deploying troops to the border.

“No one else will say it. She’s not competent at any speed,” Savage told Newsmax’s Carl Higbie Frontline. “She says nothing but word salad. She’s an embarrassment to the word ‘press’ and ‘secretary.’”

“No one stands up to her because they’re afraid of being accused of being a racist or sexist. OK, but I just did it,” Savage continued.

Savage blasted the leadership of the Republican Party for not pushing back, suggesting party leaders, such as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), have allowed “such a meltdown of a nation.”

“There is no Republican Party. Where are they?” Savage questioned. “Where’s the opposition?”

During a press briefing on Tuesday, Jean-Pierre became frustrated while trying to explain her previous claim that illegal immigration was down 90% under the Biden administration, saying she was speaking about the “parolee program.”

The conservative podcast host also slammed the White House press corps for not doing its job.

“If we had a real press corps, they’d stand up and scream at her and say, ‘Get off the stage,’” Savage said. “You’re an embarrassment to this administration and to this nation. You’re lying to us. We can see it in your eyes. We can see it in your mouth. Just shut up and get out of there. We can’t take this anymore.”

“She’s not the issue,” he added. “She’s a mouthpiece for the most deceitful, anti-American president I have ever seen in my life.”

Savage also noted that, as the son of an immigrant, immigration cannot be about taking advantage of America.

“[My family] came here to work, not work the system,” he said.
