Corporate media hides Biden’s border crisis by ignoring illegal status of Laken Riley murder suspect
Corporate Media Covering Up Deadly Consequences of Biden’s Border Invasion
Corporate media are deliberately concealing the horrifying truth about the deadly consequences of President Joe Biden’s border invasion. They are pretending that the suspect who assaulted, kidnapped, imprisoned, and murdered 22-year-old University of Georgia nursing student Laken Hope Riley was just a nearby resident, when in fact he is an illegal alien from Venezuela with a criminal history.
The day after Riley’s body was found following her disappearance during a morning run on her university’s campus, Jose Ibarra, an illegal immigrant, was charged with several felonies related to her death.
This revelation has sparked outrage among Americans who have noticed a disturbing pattern of preventable crimes committed by foreigners who crossed the open border under the Biden administration’s watch. Georgia Republicans, who have failed to address the state’s deadly sanctuary city policies, have launched letter-writing campaigns in response.
Instead of acknowledging the prevalence of crimes committed by illegal border crossers, corporate media have launched a widespread operation to obscure the suspect’s nationality and illegal presence in the U.S.
In an attempt to shift blame away from those encouraging the border invasion, the Associated Press referred to the alleged murderer as an ”Athens resident” instead of a Venezuelan who entered the U.S. illegally in 2022. They even invoked the case of Mollie Tibbetts, a University of Iowa student who was murdered by an illegal border crosser in 2018, but conveniently failed to mention the murderer’s immigration status.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution also misidentified Ibarra as an “Athens man.”
CNN claimed that Ibarra was “of Athens” and emphasized that he does not have an “extensive” criminal history, despite evidence to the contrary.
Contrary to CNN’s claim, Ibarra did have several run-ins with American law enforcement after illegally entering the U.S. He could have been one of the many criminals fleeing Venezuela, contributing to the drop in violent crime rates in the country.
The day after Ibarra’s arrest was announced, Axios promoted an article claiming that the idea of an “open border” between the U.S. and Mexico is a myth, which is factually inaccurate.
Suggesting that Ibarra was merely an Athens resident, rather than a foreigner with a history of lawbreaking who took advantage of the open border crisis, is not only factually inaccurate but also deliberately deceptive. It is an attempt to absolve Biden and Democrats of responsibility for the record-breaking influx of illegal border crossers.
Riley’s death could have been prevented if we had proper border security. Ibarra would have never made it into the U.S., and even if he did, he would have been immediately jailed and deported after his first crime in New York. However, due to lax enforcement and sanctuary city policies, he was able to evade justice and take the life of an innocent American.
Ibarra’s presence in Athens is a glaring example of the failures of the current border policy. The Biden administration’s rollback of border security and punishment for illegal immigrants has put innocent American lives at risk.

What is the responsibility of the media in informing the American public about the dangers posed by illegal immigration and the failure of border policies
Characterized the suspect as a “local resident” rather than an illegal immigrant from Venezuela. They downplayed the fact that he had a criminal history and emphasized his ties to the community instead.
This intentional deception by the corporate media is a clear example of their biased and agenda-driven reporting. By omitting key details and distorting the truth, they are complicit in covering up the deadly consequences of Biden’s border invasion.
It is not surprising that the corporate media would downplay or ignore the crimes committed by illegal immigrants. They have consistently shown a lack of transparency when it comes to reporting on immigration issues. They often prioritize their own political agenda over the safety and well-being of American citizens.
This pattern of media manipulation is not limited to this particular case. There have been numerous instances where the corporate media have ignored or downplayed crimes committed by illegal immigrants in order to protect their preferred narrative on immigration.
By concealing the truth about the dangers posed by illegal immigration, the corporate media are failing in their duty to inform the public. They are depriving Americans of important information that could help them make informed decisions about their own safety and the safety of their communities.
The consequences of this cover-up are dire. Innocent lives are being lost, and communities are being torn apart by preventable crimes. The fact that these crimes are being committed by individuals who should not be in the country in the first place is a clear indication of the failure of Biden’s border policies.
Americans deserve to know the truth about the deadly consequences of Biden’s border invasion. They should not be misled or deceived by the corporate media. It is time for the media to prioritize truth and transparency over their own political agenda.
In conclusion, the corporate media are shamefully covering up the deadly consequences of Biden’s border invasion. By distorting and omitting key details, they are complicit in hiding the truth from the American public. It is imperative that the media fulfill their responsibility to inform and educate the public, rather than pushing their own biased narrative. The safety and well-being of American citizens should always be the top priority, and it is time for the media to prioritize truth and transparency in their reporting.
