Counting The Violent Cost Of Biden’s Bloody Border Policies

Dia largely ignored the story of Riley’s tragic murder.

She pushed it out of her mind, refusing to dwell on the details. For Dia, focusing on the‍ negativity and⁤ sadness of the ⁣event‍ would ‌only bring her down. Instead, she chose ⁤to remember Riley for‌ the ⁣vibrant and kind person she was, celebrating the ‌moments they shared together and cherishing the memories they had made.

Dia knew that no ⁤amount of dwelling on the past could bring Riley back, ⁣and⁣ she didn’t want to waste her energy on something she ⁤couldn’t change. She knew that the best way she could honor Riley’s memory was by‍ living her life to the fullest, being grateful for each⁤ day she had‌ and spreading kindness and joy wherever she went.

So Dia carried on, holding onto the love and friendship she shared with Riley in her heart. ‌She knew that Riley would want her to ⁣be happy and to keep moving forward, so that’s exactly what ‍she⁣ did. And in doing so, she found peace‌ and strength in the ‌midst of tragedy.

If it wasn’t clear at the beginning of President Joe Biden’s tenure at the White House, which kicked off the largest border invasion this nation has ever seen, it is clear now that every state is a border state suffering from the consequences of unchecked, preventable crimes committed by foreigners.

Since the Democrat took office during fiscal year 2021, aliens illegally residing in the U.S. have been convicted of more than 66,000 crimes, including murder, manslaughter, assault, battery, domestic violence, burglary, robbery, larceny, theft, fraud, driving under the influence, illicit drug possession and trafficking, illegal possession of weaponry, and a slew of sexual offenses like rape.

Before Biden, nearly two-thirds of federal arrests involved border-breaking suspects. Now, after more than 10 million crossings under the Democrat’s catch-and-release regime, Americans have endured close to four calendar years of avoidable heartache because foreign criminals who face little to no scrutiny from border authorities are staying.

Here are some of the most shocking violent offenses allegedly committed by illegal border crossers under Biden’s watch.

June 2024 Murder Of 12-Year-Old Houston Girl

Illegal border crosser roommates Johan Jose Martinez-Rangel, 21, and Franklin Jose Peña Ramos, 26, allegedly bound, assaulted for hours, and murdered 12-year-old Houston resident Jocelyn Nungaray under a bridge before tossing her body in a nearby bayou on June 16, 2024.

Both were caught separately crossing the border near El Paso earlier this year and issued ankle monitors, one of which was prematurely cut by Peña, after federal authorities determined they did not have any known criminal history.

June 2024 Murder Of 21-Year-Old Woman

Police arrested Jhon Moises Chacaguasay-Ilbis in June 2024 after he allegedly suffocated 21-year-old Joselyn Jhoana Toaquiza on her birthday and ditched her body in “a shallow grave about 15 feet back from trees” in one of the city’s most popular parks.

The 21-year-old Ecuadoran first entered the U.S. near El Paso illegally in January 2023 but was quickly released. He was believed to be in the process of seeking asylum via Biden’s relaxed standards at the time of the alleged murder.

May 2024 Rape Of 15-Year-Old New York Girl

Twenty-one-year-old Sakir Akkan, a Turkey native who was caught and released into the U.S. after illegally crossing the California border in November 2023, was arrested in June after he allegedly abducted a 15-year-old girl into his vehicle and raped her on May 14, 2024. At the time, Akkan was actively seeking asylum status which would shield him from deportation.

Albany, New York, law enforcement seemingly hid news of the rape and the accused’s illegal crossing criminal history from the public.

March 2024 Murder Of 10-Year-Old Texan

Rogelio Ortiz Olivas, a 50-year-old Mexico native who re-crossed Biden’s open border after facing deportation at least five times previously, plowed over 10-year-old Midland, Texas, resident Alex Wise Jr., effectively killing him as he walked home from school.

Ortiz Olivas was not only intoxicated at the time of the crash, but fled the scene without administering aid. He was arrested after an officer at a traffic stop noticed his damaged truck hood bearing an “impression of a skull.”

March 2024 Rape Of Disabled Teen

Cory Alvarez, a 26-year-old Haitian national who entered the U.S. illegally on a taxpayer-funded flight thanks to the Biden administration’s open border policies, was arrested in March after he allegedly assaulted and raped a disabled teen at Rockland, Massachusetts, migrant shelter.

Massachusetts’ Democrat Gov. Maura Healey implied shortly after Alavarez’s arrest that rapes and other preventable violent crimes perpetrated by foreign criminals will simply happen “from time to time.”

March 2024 Barricade, Shooting By Alleged Terrorist

Awet Hagos, an Eritrean who illegally entered the U.S. after living in Haiti, was arrested in March after an hours-long barricade shooting incident in North Carolina. During the standoff, the 32-year-old terror watch list member “became ‘extremely combative’ and attempted to disarm a deputy of their firearm.”

February 2024 Shooting By Illegal Teen

A teenage illegal border crosser was arrested in February after opening fire in Times Square, striking a tourist in the leg. Jesus Alejandro Rivas-Figueroa, the 15-year-old who illegally entered the U.S. in September 2023, began shooting at officers after he was stopped by a security guard for shoplifting.

At the time, Rivas-Figueroa was residing in a taxpayer-funded migrant shelter in Manhattan. He was also believed to be one of the suspects in a January armed robbery and another Manhattan shooting.

February 2024 Rape Of Louisiana Teen, Stabbing

Angel Matias Castellanos-Orellana, a 19-year-old Honduran who illegally entered the U.S. in Eagle Pass, Texas, in October 2023, was arrested in February after he allegedly went on a month-long criminal rampage in the Pelican State.

Louisiana law enforcement claim he raped and assaulted a 14-year-old girl, committed armed robbery, and stabbed at least one person within a 25-day span. Castellanos-Orellana was only caught after officers determined he previously avoided arrest using the alternative identity “Elven Locket.”

February 2024 Murder Of Laken Riley

Jose Ibarra, a 26-year-old Venezuelan who illegally made his way into the U.S. in 2022, allegedly assaulted, kidnapped, imprisoned, and murdered 22-year-old University of Georgia nursing student Laken Hope Riley in February 2024.

Ibarra had several run-ins with American law enforcement after illegally crossing the border, including one for “reckless endangerment of a child and acting in a manner injurious to a child.” He was not, however, jailed and deported. Instead, corporate media covered up his alleged crimes and foreign background by referring to him as an “Athens, Georgia man.”

January 2024 Sexual Abuse Of Virginia Teen

Renzo Mendoza Montes was arrested in February 2024 for allegedly sexually abusing a Virginia teenager the month before. The 32-year-old Venezuelan alien tried multiple times to illegally enter the U.S. and was eventually admitted to the country by border patrol in September 2023 on the simple promise to show up for a 2025 court date.

September 2023 Rape, Assault Of Disabled Person

Pierre Lucard Emile was arrested in January 2024 after he was accused of raping, assaulting, and committing battery against a developmentally disabled person in September 2023. The 31-year-old Haitian, who illegally entered the country via the Texas border in December 2022 despite being deemed inadmissible, first faced arrest for his alleged crimes in September but was ultimately released back into the public by the county’s criminal court.

August 2023 Manslaughter Of 11-Year-Old Ohioan

Hermanio Joseph was convicted in May 2024 of first-degree felony involuntary manslaughter and fourth-degree felony vehicular homicide charges after he allegedly struck an Ohio school bus in August 2022, killing 11-year-old Aiden Clark. The Haitian was initially caught illegally crossing the U.S. border in August 2022 but ultimately released.

August 2023 Crash Into Virginia Cop

Yacarely Diaz-Castro was arrested in August 2023 for a drunk driving crash which resulted in the skull fracture and a C6 vertebrae fracture of a Virginia police officer. The 30-year-old illegal alien from Nicaragua told law enforcement that she had resided in the U.S. for roughly seven months by the time of the injurious incident.

August 2023 Rape, Murder Of Texas Child

Illegal alien Juan Carlos Garcia-Rodriguez allegedly assaulted and murdered 11-year-old Maria Gonzalez at her Pasadena, Texas residence. The 18-year-old Guatemalan illegally entered the U.S. in early 2023. He was believed to be “waiting for a court date, but was allowed to stay in the U.S. through a sponsor in Louisiana.”

June 2023 Crime Spree In NYC

One day after Daniel Hernandez Martinez arrived in New York City in June 2023, the 29-year-old Venezuelan initiated a crime spree that would result in six arrests and releases for 14 criminal charges. The illegal alien allegedly committed a wide range of crimes including larceny, charging an officer with a knife, menacing, assault, criminal mischief, weapon possession, and several violent attacks, including one in which he “grabbed a stranger by the hair, dragged her across the floor and kicked her.”

June 2023 Kidnapping, Assault Of Florida Woman

Illegal alien Julio Velazquez, 24, was arrested in June 2023 after allegedly kidnapping and assaulting a woman who mistook him for a cab driver. The victim managed to escape but was “violently battered and bruised” from trying to defend herself against the rape.

Velazquez was first detained at the Texas border but was released into the U.S. with a court date.

May 2023 Rape Of Alabama Teen

Illegal border crosser Grevi Geovani Rivera Zavala was convicted in April 2024 of raping an Alabama girl in a restaurant bathroom in May 2023. Rivera Zavala had a known criminal record in Honduras but was allowed to enter the U.S. via the Texas border in 2021 after using a fake name.

October 2022 Murder Of Massachusetts Army National Guard Veteran

Nineteen-year-old Brazilian Everton Candido was arrested in October 2023 after he allegedly struck and killed 77-year-old Army National Guard veteran Walter Wishoski, Jr. while driving without a license in Massachusetts.

Candido illegally crossed into the U.S. near California in May 2021. Instead of reporting to immigration authorities, Candido moved to a sanctuary city that later granted him bail without notifying U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

July 2022 Rape And Murder Of Autistic Woman

Twenty-year-old Kayla Hamillton’s life was cut short in July 2022 after a suspected 17-year-old MS-13 gang member from El Salvador allegedly raped, robbed, and killed her in her Maryland trailer. The suspect was not arrested until January 2023 when law enforcement officers obtained a DNA sample that matched what was found at the crime scene.

Hamilton’s mother Tammy Nobles later sued the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Health and Human Services for failing to protect Americans like her daughter from dangerous foreigners.
