Crockett attacks ‘idiot’ Elon Musk and agrees to IQ test against Trump
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) attacked Elon Musk as an “idiot” and agreed to have her IQ tested against President Donald Trump’s during a Tuesday appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
“When you bring up the idiot known as Elon Musk… he is not only, like, very sinister and has no idea what he’s doing, and people are like, ‘Oh, no, he absolutely knows cause he’s the richest man in the world,’” Crockett told Kimmel. “Like, yes, he knows how to hire smart people, but don’t conflate that and believe that he is genius, cause he ain’t.”
The Texas Democrat alleged that an incompetent Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency have done so much “damage” that Trump will not even mention the Tesla CEO anymore.
“When the last time you heard about Elon?” she asked. “We ain’t been hearing about him.”
“As soon as people started to look at his ratings, right? Like, he continues to have these failing ratings. So, now they’re like ‘Oh, get rid of Elon,’ but let me tell you, the stench ain’t gettin off of you, Trump, honey.”
Crockett, who grew up wanting to be an anesthesiologist because she claims she has always been good at math and science, was shown a clip of Trump saying her rise is a sign that Democrats are losing confidence.
“What does ‘CROCKETT!’ think about it?” Kimmel asked while attempting to mock the president’s pronunciation of Crockett’s name.
“It says a lot when you literally are supposed to be the leader of the free world, and you’re worried about a rising sophomore in the House,” she replied.
“He also called you low-IQ. I’m sure you’re aware of that,” Kimmel said. “Would you be willing to take an IQ test publicly head-to-head against the president of the United States?”
“Absolutely!” Crockett replied.
Crockett’s other targets during her Kimmel appearance included Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).
The audience of Jimmy Kimmel Live! may have laughed at Crockett’s comments, but many on social media said that she is the real joke.
“I’m embarrassed she’s a United States congresswoman,” one X user posted. “How low are the standards going to get? What an absolute embarrassment.”
“Ants build castles, but only giants shape empires,” another user commented. “Jasmine toils while Elon transforms.”
“For the love of God, please stop giving this person any relevance!,” one user begged.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) called out Crockett for her criticisms of Musk.
“Keep saying that Jasmine,” Lee posted to X. “It still won’t be true.”
