Dan Bongino urges House ‘nitwits’ to choose a speaker.
Podcaster Dan Bongino Slams House Members for Speaker Delay
Podcaster Dan Bongino didn’t hold back his frustration on X, formerly known as Twitter, as he criticized House members for their failure to elect a speaker after 17 days.
“PICK A SPEAKER ALREADY YOU CHILDISH NITWITS!”
Speaker Vote: The 25 Republicans Who Voted Against Jordan
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) faced defeat in three consecutive speaker elections, with the latest one occurring on Friday. The previous two elections took place back-to-back on Thursday. The ousting of former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) happened when eight Republicans joined forces with the Democratic members.
“McCarthy, of all people, was just on the floor nominating Jordan, which makes these whining crybaby wussbags in Congress look even worse,”
Bongino expressed his disbelief and amusement on his podcast, the Dan Bongino Show, stating, “This is hilariously stupid. This is so dumb. Put your big boy pants on.”
Jordan received endorsements from Reps. Nancy Mace (R-SC), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), and Andy Biggs (R-AZ), who voted against McCarthy. However, he failed to secure the support of all eight Republicans who turned against McCarthy, including Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO). Nevertheless, fellow Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) endorsed Jordan, and he also received the endorsement of former President Donald Trump.
It seems that no other Republican member is currently in the running for speaker, as Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) withdrew from the race after realizing he lacked the necessary 214 votes.
Bongino, who left Fox News in April of this year, has been hosting his own podcast on Spotify, Apple, and Rumble. He also hosts a nationally syndicated talk radio program.

How does physical education contribute to the mental and emotional well-being of students?
The importance of physical education in schools.
Physical education (PE) is an essential component of a comprehensive education system. It plays an integral role in the physical and mental development of students. While academic subjects such as mathematics and science are often prioritized in schools, it is crucial not to overlook the significance of physical education and the impact it can have on a student’s overall well-being.
Firstly, physical education contributes to the improvement of students’ physical health. Regular physical activity aids in the development of strong bones, muscles, and cardiovascular systems. It helps to prevent obesity and related health problems such as diabetes and heart disease. In a world where sedentary lifestyles are becoming more prevalent, physical education can be a proactive measure in promoting a healthy lifestyle. By engaging in sports, games, and other physical activities, students develop the habit of being physically active from a young age, leading to a lifelong commitment to fitness.
Furthermore, physical education promotes mental and emotional well-being. Engaging in physical activity releases endorphins, which are natural mood enhancers. Regular exercise has been proven to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and stress. Participating in team sports can also foster a sense of camaraderie, teamwork, and sportsmanship. These social skills are crucial for students’ personal development and can positively impact their relationships with peers and authority figures.
Moreover, physical education can enhance cognitive abilities and academic performance. Studies have shown that regular physical activity can improve concentration, attention span, and memory. When students engage in physical activities, blood flow to the brain increases, resulting in improved cognitive function. Moreover, participating in sports and games requires strategizing, problem-solving, and critical thinking, skills that can transfer to academic learning. This, in turn, helps students perform better in their academic pursuits.
Additionally, physical education teaches essential life skills. Through team sports, students learn how to cooperate, collaborate, and communicate effectively. They develop leadership qualities, learn time management, discipline, and goal-setting. These skills are invaluable and can be applied to various aspects of life, including school, career, and personal relationships.
It is crucial for schools to prioritize physical education and allocate adequate time and resources to it. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints or curriculum demands, some schools have reduced the time allotted for physical education, or even eliminated it altogether. However, this is a shortsighted approach that fails to acknowledge the long-term benefits of physical education on students’ overall development.
Efforts should be made to ensure that qualified physical education teachers are available in all schools. Moreover, schools should provide well-equipped facilities and a variety of activities to cater to different students’ interests and abilities. The inclusion of physical education in the overall educational framework should be emphasized, with an acknowledgment of its equal importance to academic subjects.
In conclusion, physical education in schools is crucial for the holistic development of students. It promotes physical health, mental well-being, cognitive functioning, and the development of important life skills. By prioritizing physical education and providing adequate resources, schools can play a significant role in shaping healthier, well-rounded individuals who are better equipped to face the challenges of life.
