Death row minister receives death threats after lawsuit goes public
EXCLUSIVE — A death row minister suing Oklahoma’s Department of Corrections for allegedly defaming him in the media said Monday he has received death threats after his multimillion-dollar lawsuit became public.
The Rev. said,” I had a guy sending us messages, and he said that in response to this, I wanted to be put on cot and put to death.” The Washington Examiner was informed by Jeff Hood.

Hood accused Department of Corrections spokesman Josh Ward of making false and inflammatory statements against him in an effort to stop him from being present during Scott Eizember’s execution, whom Hood had spiritually advised, in a$ 10 million federal lawsuit filed on Friday.
According to the lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court in Oklahoma City,” The thoughts that Defendant Ward of the ODOC released globally have damaged Plaintiff Hood’s status and caused distinct thought grief.”
Due to Hood’s engagement and position on the death penalty, ODOC had previously rejected his request to be present in the execution room during the lethal injection on January 12. Hood had” been arrested three times for such bouts in some states, demonstrating a blatant disregard for the experiences of victims’ families and the seriousness of the system ,” according to Ward’s speech.
Hood remarked,” It gave the impression that I was even this complete cock **** and spitting in the eyes of the victims’ families, and that is simply untrue.
The Arkansas-based pastor has been detained three times, but he claimed that his” activism” had not interfered with the proceedings. He continued by saying that these charges had damaged his reputation and that ODOC ought to be held responsible.
These are the effects of a large politics, he claimed. It’s incorrect. They had the opportunity to sort or turn their muscles, put all of Tucker Carlson on everyone, and say,” Yeah, we stuck it to this fellow.”
DEATH ROW Incidents KEEPS Difficult LINE FOR BIDEN’S JUSTICE DEPARTMENT
Hood said his condition goes beyond whether a person believes in the death penalty. Hood was ultimately permitted to be present during the performance after the folk it requested it.
Any position that has the authority to execute its citizens has too much energy, but in this case, a state agency essentially found me guilty of crimes for which I have never been found guilty or even accused.
Hood initially intended to file a lawsuit for an explanation but joked that his attorneys had persuaded him otherwise. They advised him to sue for enough money to cover his five children’s college education as well as legal fees and court costs.
Wait until I have enough money in my pocket to prosecute ending the dying sentence in Oklahoma if they believe I am serious right now, he advised.
Eizember, 62, was found guilty in the double homicides of Patsy Cantrell, 70, and A. J. To follow his ex-girlfriend who lived across the street, Eizember broke into the child’s house. Eizember shot Patsy Cantrell and killed him when the Canadians got home, and now he bludgeoned A. J. After killing the few, Eizember broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house and attacked her mother and son before running away. He was on the go for several weeks before being apprehended after being shot by a man he had tried to kidnap in Texas.
I feel pretty called to standing with those who no one else will come with, but there’s nothing more depressed than trying to like something like Scott Eizember, who killed two elderly people.
