Dem Arizona Gov. to Fly Illegals Out of State

My, my, my. Katie Hobbs is a Democrat and the new governor of Arizona. She announced that Arizona will fly illegal migrants from Arizona to the destinations they choose. She’s going into the travel business.

Democrats and other open border advocates have a snort when Governor Abbott moves illegal aliens from Texas. The teeth are gnashed and pearls are held tightly. It’s all so inhumane. It’s a political stunt, they say. Yet, not a peep from anyone when the newly-elected Democrat governor in Arizona relieves some of her state’s burden. You’d be amazed at how it happens.

The addition of 737 aircraft to the buses that transport migrants from border communities will soon be a reality. Migrants are getting an upgrade They will be taken on a ride to their destination.

A Jan. 14 state contract stated that the program now includes chartered air travel via an 737 aircraft.

The Democratic governor of the new state said that her Republican predecessor had started the practice. She needs to review it in order for it to work. However, she acknowledged its merits.

“It’s something that provides support to those local communities,” Hobbs said that Hobbs was referring to border communities being strained by the influx. “If we’re spending money to bus people, why not just get them to their final destination?”

Who wouldn’t prefer a seat on a 747 over a seat on a bus? Migrants will be able to get to their destination much faster. There is no need to take a two-day trip from Mexico City to NYC when they can board a plane.

“We’re sending migrants to cities they actually need to go to and be connected with their sponsors, and we are doing it in a more cost effective way by looking at all travel options, not just buses,” Berry said.

She didn’t give any details about the number of migrants who have traveled under the new contract. The cost of the effort was not immediately apparent.

The Ducey administration paid $82,000 for each bus trip of migrant buses. The buses can hold approximately 50 people. It’s important to remember that the migrants volunteer for these bus trips, the same is true in Texas. It’s a free trip to a big city they may want to go to anyway. Some people use it to connect to their final destination.

Border officials and immigration officers release illegal aliens seeking asylum in shelters in Yuma and Tucson. They can travel on their own to the United States. Usually, they pay for the bus or airline tickets with their sponsors or relatives. Arizona taxpayers will now bear the entire cost of transportation.

Arizona has set aside $15 million to pay for migrants transporting. It costs $1 million per month to operate the migrant bus program.

DHS has been moving immigrants from border communities since 2021, when the Biden border crisis began. They transport them by planes and buses, sometimes in the dark of night so that they don’t attract attention from the locals. They also travel to the interior of the country.
