Among Democrat voters, 30% of all voters said they did not want Biden to run in 2024, and the most popular choice to run to replace him was Vice President Kamala Harris, according to a News Nation poll released Thursday.

When choosing who they wanted to run to replace Biden, 44.2% of Democrat voters wanted “someone else” to run in 2024, but the most popular choice for a replacement after that was Harris, at 16.1%. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders came behind Harris at 10.7%, and California Gov. Gavin Newsom polled behind him at 8.9%, according to the News Nation poll.

Harris has consistently polled almost as poorly, and sometimes her numbers are worse than President Joe Biden. A June 17 Fox News poll had Biden at a 57% disapproval rate, while 56% viewed Harris unfavorably. A February poll had both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris at a low approval rating in the vice president’s home state of California: Biden’s approval rating was 47% while Harris’s was worse at 38%.

A November 2021 USA Today poll had Biden at a 38% approval rating, and Harris was lower at 28% approval.  (RELATED: ‘This Was A Good Week,’ Kamala Harris Says Amid Approval Rating Disaster And Reports Of ‘Dysfunction’)

News Nation’s poll also found 57% of voters, and 26% of Republican voters, don’t want Trump to run in 2024. Among Republican voters, 38.1% wanted “someone else” to run for the Republican nomination in 2024, while DeSantis led the list at 23.4%.
