Democrats Are Trying to ‘Cancel’ Sen. Feinstein, GOP’s Jordan Says
Democrats are warned by Rep. Jim Jordan( R-Ohione ) that their party seems to be trying to” cancel” Sen. Dianne Feinstein( D-California ).
Jordan made his remarks during a Fox & Friends season from April 17 in which he asked questions about the sick senator’s’s involvement in the upper room of Congress.
Feinstein, 89, has been out of the Senate had since receiving a tiles diagnosis in late February. Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer( D-N) was questioned by the California senator. Y. ) In a speech dated April 12th, to temporarily take her place on the Judiciary Committee while she recovers from her cancer. She has so far resisted leaving her Senate seat.
Even Rep. Ro Khanna( D-California ), a Democrat colleague of Feinstein’s’s, has urged him to step down, saying,” She hasn’t been showing up, and she has no intention.” We are unsure if she will actually appear. Khanna stated on” Fox News Sunday” that she has no return schedule.
Khanna remarked,” Only in Washington would you get criticized for saying anything so obvious.” Senator Feinstein has received a lot of support, but this year, she lost 75 % of the vote. She hasn’t been showing up, and we have no idea if she will. No due meeting for returns.
” A Democrat Problem”
It” Sounds like the Democrats are trying to cancel Senator Feinstein ,” Jordan said in response to those remarks. The legislator recalled a time when, due to something she said many years ago, Feinstein’s’s title was mispronounced from an elementary education.
” Are you attempting to remove her from the Senate today? Before saying that this is” a Democrat issue” and that the party’s’s attempt to” cancel her” should be” the main takeaway for Democrats ,” Jordan said,” I understand she hasn’t been there much.”
Tom Cotton, Sen.( R-Ark. ) has taken a more forceful stance, urging his Democratic associates to back Democrats in their efforts to unseat Feinstein on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
In a social media post that also contained an article about the Feinstein situation, Cotton stated that Republicans shouldn’t help Democrats confirm Joe Biden’s’s most extreme court nominees.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn( R-Tennessee ) stated that she would oppose Senate Democrats’ attempt to temporarily remove Feinstein from the Senate Judiciary Committee, claiming that doing so would support their efforts to” pack the court with activist judges.”
Blackburn stated on Twitter on Monday that he would not support Chuck Schumer’s’s method to add activist judges to the court and remove Senator Feinstein on the Judiciary Committee. Joe Biden desires to be in the Senate
