Democrats prioritize power over democracy

Is Democracy Still America’s Sacred Cause?

While issuing remarks this past weekend at Valley Forge to commemorate the third anniversary of the Jan 6. Capitol kerfuffle,⁤ President Biden asked the public, ‍“Is democracy still America’s sacred cause?”

It’s ironic, considering this question came moments after Biden went⁤ on about the sacrifices made ⁢by Gen. George Washington and the Continental Army, comparing ‍himself to the nation’s first president and his Republican predecessor, former President Donald Trump, to a corrupt, ‍power-obsessed‌ King George III.

Set ⁤aside the heresy of our devout Catholic leader, the simple fact of the matter is that “democracy” never was, and still isn’t, “our sacred cause.” Of course, one could wax poetic about apples of gold and frames of‍ silver to ‍try to discern what “our sacred cause” ‌might be, but that’s neither here nor there. The reality is that expansive appeals to⁣ national democracy⁢ have been‍ made for decades ⁢to undermine local⁢ authority and consolidate power in an unaccountable bureaucratic managerial apparatus.

The⁤ bastardized quasi-democracy in which we currently find ourselves is the result of this. Sure, there are technically different branches of government that technically perform different ⁣functions, ⁣but at the federal level, the only thing that actually makes things happen is the bureaucracy. So now, the nation lives⁣ and dies at the outcome of a vote because the results determine just how much‌ power will be relegated to the administrative ⁢apparatus and with how much impunity ⁤it will be allowed to operate.

Ultimately, Democrats’ “sacred cause” is nothing less than their complete⁣ consolidation ‍of institutional power.

This⁣ is, in large part, why political messaging has become so manic over the last decade and why stooges like Aaron Rupar uncritically amplified Biden’s faux-patriotic and onanistic attacks on Fox News.

“When the attack on Jan. 6 happened, there was no doubt about ⁢the truth. At the time, even ‍Republican members of Congress and Fox News commentators publicly and privately condemned the attack. … Now those same people have changed their tune. … We’ll defend the truth,” an unusually lively, potentially stimulant-fueled Biden proclaimed while⁣ pledging to defend democracy.

It just so happens that effectively everything‍ the public was told about ‍Jan. 6 — much ‌like the Russia hoax, the Hunter Biden⁢ laptop, and Biden’s ‍involvement with his family’s overseas ‍business dealings — was a lie parroted by tattletale accomplice media outlets like MSNBC and CNN. Dissent online to any of the regime’s preferred narratives regarding the above was summarily crushed by the fascistic joint efforts of Big Tech‍ and the administrative‍ apparatus.‌ It⁢ wasn’t until ⁣Elon Musk acquired Twitter that Americans could once more speak somewhat freely about this en masse.

Ignore how ‍the intelligence apparatus⁤ worked to discredit the Hunter⁢ Biden laptop⁢ story and deliberately underminedTrump with bogus intel in the Russia-collusion conspiracy theory. Don’t worry about the disproportionate and dishonest response to Jan. 6. If you’re‌ concerned about the administrative apparatus conspiring with Big Tech to suppress information, go touch grass.

What matters is ⁤”democracy.”

The ⁣left’s constant‍ subversion and erosion of democratic norms don’t ⁢matter. Because ⁢”democracy” just means “power.” The⁢ former ⁢is a pleasant-sounding means to‌ a gruesome end.

How has the constant push for national democracy affected‍ the power dynamics in America?

Is Democracy Still America’s‌ Sacred Cause?

In his recent remarks at Valley Forge to mark ‍the third anniversary⁣ of the January 6 Capitol ⁤incident, President Biden posed‍ a thought-provoking question to the American public: “Is democracy still America’s sacred cause?” This question ‍came shortly after ‌Biden spoke about‍ the sacrifices made by General George Washington and ‍the Continental Army. Interestingly, he‍ compared himself to the nation’s first ⁣president while likening his Republican predecessor, Donald Trump, to⁤ a corrupt and power-obsessed King ⁤George ‍III.

Putting aside any controversies surrounding our‌ devout Catholic leader, the truth remains that “democracy” has never been and still isn’t⁣ “our sacred cause.” One could indulge in poetic‍ analogies about “apples of gold and frames of silver” to speculate on what our sacred cause might be, but that would be beside the point. The reality is that the constant calls for national democracy over the years have aimed to undermine local authority and consolidate power in an unaccountable⁢ bureaucratic managerial ⁢apparatus.

The result of this process is the bastardized quasi-democracy that we currently find ourselves in. While there may be technically⁢ different ⁤branches of government performing different functions,‍ at the⁤ federal level, the bureaucracy ‍holds the true power. Our ⁤nation’s ⁣fate now rests on the outcome of ⁣elections, as⁢ the results ‌determine how much ⁤power will be given to the administrative apparatus and how freely ⁣it can operate.

Ultimately, for the Democrats,⁤ their “sacred cause” is nothing less than the complete consolidation of institutional‍ power. This explains ⁤the ‍increasingly manic political messaging of the past⁢ decade and the uncritical amplification ‌of President Biden’s⁤ attacks on Fox News by individuals‌ like Aaron Rupar.

“When the attack on January 6 happened, there was no doubt about the truth. Even Republican members of Congress and Fox News commentators publicly and ⁣privately condemned the attack at the time. But now, ⁤those same people have changed their tune.⁣ We will defend the truth,” a notably energetic President Biden declared while pledging to defend democracy.

Coincidentally, almost everything the public was told ‍about January 6 – ⁢much like the Russia ‍hoax, the Hunter Biden laptop, and Biden’s involvement⁢ with his family’s⁤ overseas business dealings ⁣– turned out to be falsehoods propagated by complicit⁢ media outlets such⁤ as MSNBC and‍ CNN. Dissent against the ⁣regime’s ⁣preferred narratives online is‌ met with censorship ⁤and suppression.

The question posed by President⁢ Biden deserves reflection. Is democracy still America’s ⁤sacred cause?⁤ Perhaps it is time for a‌ reevaluation of our values and an assessment of the true nature⁢ of power in our ‌society. Only through an honest ⁣and ‍open ⁢discourse can we hope to⁤ preserve the principles on which our nation was founded.
