Dems urge Biden admin. to introduce new immigration legislation

Some Democrats are considering voting on legislation to curb the flow of migrants entering the U.S. Senate Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) has urged the Biden White House to come out with a bill that provides safe entry for migrants coming into the country, while also making sure the vetting process is strong.
There are some from the Biden administration who are acknowledging there are problems at the border, including Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. He said migrants crossing are set to reach the highest level seen in the last two decades.

However, Joe Biden himself is still not taking the blame. Instead, he has moved to reverse several Trump-era policies, which helped stop the migrant surge.
