Denver Broncos Contact Jim Harbaugh to Obtain Head Coach Position

The Denver Broncos have the most talked about head coaching position in the NFL and are beginning their search for a prominent name. But will he accept?

According to reports, the Broncos reached out to Jim Harbaugh, Michigan’s football coach, to fill the position. This is a highly respected and valuable candidate after the disappointing 2022 season at Mile High.

Denver Will Buy Harbaugh High?

The Broncos informed the ex-Niners coach about their interest. He led an Ann Arbor revival since 2015. After this season’s 15 games, Denver fired Nathaniel Hackett. The franchise’s interest in Harbaugh rests in new ownership’s desire to kick-start an expensive revamp, which failed under Hackett.

Hackett’s deficiencies were well documented this year, and the sharp drop in Russell Wilson’s production has made the Broncos’ HC position the most polarizing and discussed role available.

Sean Payton, former New Orleans Saints Coach, was another name that was considered for the Broncos job.

Harbaugh spoke with the Minnesota Vikings last year before the team hired ex-Rams OC Kevin O’Connell to help boost Kirk Cousins and the offense.

Despite Harbaugh’s reported cold feet with returning to NFL, the Wolverines’ head-coaching seat may be warmer than ever after a deflating loss to TCU in the College Football Playoff semifinals, 51-45.

Harbaugh finished the season as NFL HC at 59-36-1 He suffered his sixth consecutive bowl loss on Saturday, furthering his postseason woes at the CFP.
