DeSantis Nukes Reporter Over ‘Totally BS’ Claim: ‘Focus On The Facts And Stop Worrying About Narrative’
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Slams Reporter Over False Guantanamo Bay Claims
During a press conference in Israel, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis forcefully rejected claims made by former detainee Mansoor Adayfi that DeSantis witnessed him being force-fed at Guantanamo Bay. Adayfi claimed he saw a picture of DeSantis on Twitter and remembered his face from nearly two decades ago. DeSantis quickly fired back at the reporter, asking how Adayfi would know him and calling the claims “totally BS.”
DeSantis Calls Out Media Narrative
DeSantis also criticized the media for using Guantanamo Bay terrorists as sources to fit their “pre-ordained narrative.” He urged reporters to focus on the facts and stop worrying about narrative. Watch the video of DeSantis demolishing the legacy media below:

DeSantis previously responded to the false allegations earlier this year during an interview with Piers Morgan, stating that he was a junior officer at the time and did not have the authority to authorize force-feeding. When asked again if the report was wrong, DeSantis responded: “Yeah, absolutely.”
