DeSantis Speaks at Pro-Law Enforcement Rally in NYC
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis spoke to a pro-Law enforcement Event held in Staten Island’s catering hall this morning amid speculations that he would run as President.
DeSantis’s President’s Day visit to New York comes months after his last trip, in October 2022. He was there to campaign against Republican Lee Zeldin in the 2022 gubernatorial election. Zeldin was also present at today’s Staten Island event.

DeSantis opened his speech by praising Florida’s achievements in net migration, new business formations and education freedom. He also highlighted the parental involvement in education and growth in GDP during his time as governor.
