Ron DeSantis Vows to Take on the Deep State and Mexican Drug Cartels
Ron DeSantis, the Florida governor and Republican presidential nominee hopeful, recently made some bold statements during a trip to New Hampshire. He warned the deep state, saying, “We’re going to start slitting throats on Day One.” This strong language caught the attention of many.
DeSantis didn’t stop there. He also had a stern message for Mexican drug cartels, who have worsened America’s opioid crisis. He declared, “At the border, they’re going to be shot stone, cold dead.”
While some attendees found his words inappropriate, DeSantis remains unapologetic. He is determined to tackle these issues head-on, regardless of the criticism.

In June, DeSantis also weighed in on the immigration debate, promising to use “deadly force” to combat the cartels. He firmly believes that taking decisive action is necessary to protect the country.
Furthermore, DeSantis expressed his determination to put an end to “woke” policies, stating, “We’re going to make sure that the woke agenda ends up in the dustbin of history.”
Despite facing challenges in the polls against Donald Trump, DeSantis remains undeterred. His campaign recently announced a “reset” aimed at revitalizing his messaging, strategy, events, and staff.
