Three former intelligence officials who previously claimed that the Hunter Biden laptop was a Russian disinformation plot have now been appointed to senior intelligence positions in the Biden administration. This move has raised eyebrows and sparked controversy.

He disbanded the Disinformation Governance Board after its chairwoman, Nina Jankowicz, promoted the discredited theory about Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Among the other appointments to the DHS committee is Benjamin Wittes, a left-wing pundit and fellow at the Brookings Institution. Wittes, who was banned from Twitter for impersonating the Russian embassy, has been a vocal critic of the Republican Party, claiming it poses a threat to the rule of law and the integrity of democracy.
Another member of the DHS intelligence experts group, Tashina Gauhar, was involved in approving fraudulent surveillance warrants against former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
