The White House Admits President Biden Knew About Son’s Subpoena Violation

Two sources who spoke with Politico also confirmed that Joe Biden had knowledge of the contents of Hunter’s speech.
Hunter Biden Plays the Victim Card
During his press conference, Hunter Biden dismissed revelations of his involvement in the Bidens’ corruption scandal by portraying himself as a victim. He accused those investigating the scandal of belittling his recovery from drug addiction.
“[T]hey have tried to dehumanize me, all to embarrass my father, who has devoted his entire life to public service,” Hunter complained. “For six years, I have been a target of the unrelenting Trump attack team. ’Where’s Hunter?’ Well, here’s my answer. I am here.”
But Hunter’s speech didn’t come without assistance from a notable congressional Democrat. Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., known for his ties to Chinese spies, helped stage the press conference for the Biden family. Swalwell confirmed that he reserved a spot near the Capitol for Hunter Biden’s grandstanding.
As legal expert Jonathan Turley noted, by staying on the Senate side of the Capitol, Hunter ensured that he couldn’t be pulled into the hearing room by the House sergeant at arms. His refusal to testify could result in Congress holding him in contempt, which would force Attorney General Merrick Garland to take action, just as he did with former Trump adviser Steve Bannon.
House Republicans’ inquiry has always been about exposing Joe Biden’s role in the Biden family’s foreign influence-peddling operation. Numerous pieces of evidence, including bank records, text messages, emails, and testimonies from former business associates, IRS and FBI whistleblowers, and even Joe himself, have corroborated different aspects of Joe’s involvement.
