The Walt Disney Company has recently announced a price increase for its popular Disney+ streaming services. This decision comes despite a loss of 300,000 subscribers in the United States and Canada during the latest quarter.
In Disney’s third-quarter earnings report on Aug. 9, it was revealed that there has been a significant decline in revenue across various sectors, with the exception of its international theme parks.
This price hike comes as a surprise, considering Disney’s previous report that its streaming business remains unprofitable.
