Disney’s Financial Woes: A Wake-Up Call
Disney is facing a staggering financial decline, and one cartoonist has a bold theory as to why.
Renowned cartoonist Michael Ramirez took to Twitter to share his latest creation, which hilariously targets Disney CEO Bob Iger for his woke decision-making amidst the company’s financial struggles.
The cartoon depicts Iger in his office, perplexed by the money drain, while a figurine of Mickey Mouse with a sign that reads “Woke” sits on his desk, providing the answer right in front of him.
But that’s not all. To Iger’s right, a satirical poster for the new live-action “Snow White” remake mocks the injection of leftist politics into the film, renaming it “Snow Polychrome and the Seven Vertically Challenged but Socially Conscious Climate Change and Gender Advocates.”

Ramirez’s analysis hits the nail on the head. While Disney executives scramble to find the cause of their financial woes, the answer is glaringly obvious — people are tired of their woke creations.
Disney is currently in a downward spiral, losing over $800 million in the past year alone, with no signs of improvement as audience interest in their films dwindles.
Furthermore, their theme parks are experiencing a decline in visitors, leading to a full-blown marketing and financial crisis for the once-beloved company.
Yet, Disney seems unwilling to engage in a serious discussion about the reasons behind their revenue loss.
Instead, they forge ahead, churning out the same woke content that landed them in this predicament in the first place.
Moreover, the company continues to engage in conflicts with conservative politicians like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, further alienating potential supporters and exacerbating their financial decline.
Disney fails to grasp that audiences have grown weary of woke propaganda. Parents, in particular, do not want their children exposed to gender ideology indoctrination.
Furthermore, parents do not wish to support a company that actively opposes parental rights in education, a central issue in Disney’s clash with the governor.
In essence, it is abundantly clear why Disney is losing money. By aligning themselves with the extreme left, they have alienated millions of their once-loyal supporters.
People are fed up with having woke propaganda forced upon them, and they are making their dissatisfaction known through their wallets.
Unfortunately, Disney either fails to notice or simply doesn’t care. Either way, if they don’t change course soon, they will face the consequences they deserve.
