Gina Carano retaliates against Snow White actress after 3 years.
In 2020, Rachel Zegler Takes a Stand Against Gina Carano’s Controversial Bio
In a fiery exchange on Twitter, Rachel Zegler, the talented actress set to portray Snow White in the upcoming live-action film, called out Gina Carano for her choice of words in her bio. Carano had written “beep/bop/boop” after facing demands to list her pronouns.
Carano defended her decision, stating, “I won’t put pronouns in my bio to show my support for trans lives. After months of harassment, I decided to put 3 VERY controversial words in my bio.. beep/bop/boop. I’m not against trans lives at all. They need to find less abusive representation.”
Zegler wasted no time in responding, tweeting, “Don’t make fun of pronouns,” which ignited her followers to attack Carano.

Zegler made it clear that her tweet was directed at Carano by adding, “It’s a fun time to remind you all to love Pedro Pascal.” Pascal, Carano’s former co-star on “The Mandalorian,” had included pronouns in his Twitter bio.
Carano retaliated this week, responding to Zegler’s tweet about kindness with a GIF from “Schitts Creek” featuring a character tapping her screen to trigger the word “boop.”

Reportedly, this prompted Zegler to block Carano.
Zegler’s Take on the Snow White Story
“I mean, you know, the original cartoon came out in 1937, and very evidently so. There’s a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird! Weird. So we didn’t do that this time. We have a different approach to what I’m sure a lot of people will assume is a love story just because, like we cast a guy in the movie … It’s one of those things that I think everyone’s going to have their assumptions about what it’s actually going to be, but it’s really not about the love story at all, which is really, really wonderful.”
In February 2021, Disney made the controversial decision to cut ties with Carano, who had expressed right-wing views on social media. However, just two days later, Carano announced a new partnership with The Daily Wire.
“The Daily Wire is helping make one of my dreams — to develop and produce my own film — come true. I cried out and my prayer was answered,” Carano said in a statement. “I am sending out a direct message of hope to everyone living in fear of cancellation by the totalitarian mob. I have only just begun using my voice which is now freer than ever before, and I hope it inspires others to do the same. They can’t cancel us if we don’t let them.”
Ben Shapiro, co-founder and Editor Emeritus of The Daily Wire, emphasized the consequences of social movements, stating, “It is not about an honest attempt to cleanse the culture. It is not about an honest attempt to have discussion or conversation. It is about, can we wrong-foot you so that we have an excuse to say that your entire career has been completely and utterly garbage and that you are a bad person, and so we feel good about excising you from the body politic. That’s all that is happening right now in the culture, and that is a big deal.”
